Working closely with the customer’s accommodation lead and travelling between sites with my team of Atos engineers and 3rd party contractors Q-Matic, we successfully installed, configured and commissioned UKBA Biometric enrolment facilities in Sheffield, Solihull, Liverpool, Glasgow, Cardiff and Belfast.

Project Manager, Desktop Refresh (South Of England)Atos Apr 2006 - Aug 2007Uk Border Agency (Ukba)I led a team of technical engineers in the full hardware and software upgrade of PCs from Windows NT to a Windows XP system. I was responsible for the full lifecycle of the project. This included; procurement and delivery of the hardware, pre-migration communication with the user community, daily scheduling of the rollout team, post migration support for users and formal completion sign-off with customer stakeholders. The project migrated approximately 3500 users across 12 buildings in Croydon and was part of a larger UK-wide refresh programme upgrading approximately 8000 users.

The Transition was responsible for the takeover of all elements of the existing contract with UKBA including helpdesk set up, desktop support, HR, Disaster Recovery, Applications Support, Asset Auditing, Configuration Management, Test & Development, Procurement and the TUPE transfer of approximately 90 staff.
