CurrentEmployed as full-time Creative Design Management adviser by Sequin NYC to work directly with Creative Director and assume responsibility for development of all new designs. Set up and managed Sequin’s Design Development Department based in Rumford RI. Hired team of highly-skilled labor and coordinated all aspects of product design/development from conceptual model to finished sample. • Engineered all new designs and subsequent assembly, ensuring each new design could be trans-ferred into manufacturing and produced in the most efficient and cost-effective way.• Sourced, negotiated pricing and purchased all necessary components from suppliers; interfaced extensively with all vendors such as tooling, plating and casting companies; worked directly with highly skilled free lance model makers, casters, platers, polishers.• Oversaw pricing negotiations with all vendors to meet budget demands; financial responsibility for all vendors’ AR/AP submissions.• Worked closely with Creative Director on product designs; afforded full “artistic license” to follow through with her initial conceptual designs to develop the finished samples.• Produced unique and complex product samples to meet demands of 5 - 6 retail markets per year; each seasonal market required approximately 150 new designs per market (total of 750-900 per year).• Ensured that all work submitted met quality standards and that all models were engineered and executed to customer specifications.• Partial list of Key Sequin Customers: Lilly Pulitzer, Henri Bendel *, Badgley Mischka*, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Kohl’s, Chico’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale's, Banana Republic, Express, Carolina Herrera. *jewelry appeared on runway shows
