Responsible for monitoring and supervising the activities of a unit of Licensing Program Analysts and performs quality assurance reviews, plans and conducts individual and group training, reviews complaint investigations, provides technical and supervisory direction in the office and the field, and reviews monthly intake and production reports.May act as the Division representative with other agencies, recruit and hire new staff, meet with facility representatives, and recommend administrative actions against noncompliance licensees. Also supports the office in maintaining CCLD Policies and Procedures.

Enforce California laws and regulations towards Senior Assisted Living, Adult Residential Facility, and Adult Day Program to insure compliance. Duties include inspections and investigations while working close with local and federal law enforcement agencies. Prepare reports for legal and public review. Duties also include the issuance and revocation of a state license to operate and to attend legal hearings if summoned, to advise of expert analysis.

Process non-industrial disability insurance claims, review continuing claim forms, review medical records and workers comp claims to insure that there is no conflict, and refer claimants to an Independent Medical Examination (IME) to diagnose and confirm extension of their benefits.
