After graduating from Parsons School for Design in 2020, Michael began developing the eponymous brand in 2021, showing his inaugural collection ‘MC 001: Schadenfreude’ in October of 2022.

I was a design intern for Bibhu Mohapatra during the summer of 2019. While there I assisted the Design team and head of Production in patternmaking, designing, creating embroidery layouts, and cuttingfor sample making and factory production of Resort 2020 and Spring 2020 collections, created a database of past samples, and performed other miscellaneous tasks around the studio as needed.

I was a design and merchandising intern at Mango USA dealing with a wide range of tasks, such as facilitating meetings with buyers, fabric sourcing, creating and managing production and sales orders, organizing photo shoots, and assisting in the design and fitting process of garments.
