Experienced Writer and Social Entrepreneur in East and Central Africa. Mike is now focused on establishing a voice in the US and Canadian spheres to promote his literary work and the upcoming documentary film development project Community Wildlife Stewardship - C.W.S. (communitywildlifestewardship.org) Mike has extensive experience managing operations in The Congo and Tanzania. Mike will also offer his consulting services to for-profits and no-profits interested in his areas of expertise. Mike plans to publish stories and memoirs as well as contributing to the Oped discussion on conservation and African Development in a wider sense. Mike's experience goes back a long way to running coffee campaigns in the Congo in the eighties and working for American security as the ending of the cold war brought that country to its knees. Unfortunately those civil disturbances curtailed the opportunity but Mike did have a chance to travel extensively to the Lomako Forest to see the Pigmy Chimpanzees where his interest in anti poaching first began. Mike is an accomplished and prolific writer who was brought up in a political environment which emphasized service to community and fairness to supporters and dissenters alike. Mike has the experience to develop and operate new and difficult projects across this landscape and come up with the appropriate solutions to get the job done.
