Survivors (Hull & East Riding) is a rape and sexual trauma centre which provides therapeutic counselling and support to people affected by or living with the traumatic effects of childhood sexual abuse and any form of sexual exploitation including human trafficking.Our rape service is for both male and female survivors of sexual violence. Survivors is also committed to promoting the prevention of sexual abuse. Our main area of benefit is Hull and the East Riding and we have an outreach service in Grimsby.Our head office is based in the centre of Hull near the local bus and railway station. We also have an outreach service in the Riverside area of Hull and also in Grimsby.How can we help you?We have a range of highly specialised services to assist and help survivors through their healing process. We provide specialist counselling from a humanistic and integrative perspective, on a one-to-one basis, in a welcoming and safe environment for male and female survivors over the age of 16.What we doWe are completely non-judgemental and accepting and try to give people back the life they would have had if they had not been abused.We give our clients a voice and reduce the secrecy and shame surrounding childhood sexual abuse and adult sexual assault.We give survivors a place to tell their stories, heal their wounds and inspire them to see their own potential.
