About Michael Chasin

As a distribution coordinator at Open Road Films I worked on Best Picture winner Spotlight, and booked private screenings of our films for schools, charities, and special interest groups nationwide. As an assistant to the President and EVP of Distribution, I read scripts and provided key feedback on potential acquisitions, in addition to helping choose dates for upcoming titles thanks to an extensive knowledge of the modern film market.I then moved to STORIES International Inc., a Japanese-owned commercial agency where I've worked to produced branded entertainment at every scale, from ads promoting local artisans to global campaigns for companies like Sony and Bandai. I serve as the company's English language copywriter, generating ad material and overseeing our general communications to ensure quality and accuracy for ESL colleagues.Narrative entertainment, across all media, remains my lifelong passion.
