De-conflicted roles of responsibility when different agencies were notified to respond to Unexploded Ordnance or Improvised Explosive Devices. Responses to hazardous explosives were streamlined resulting in hazardous situations being resolved in a more efficient manner. • Managed 13-person Explosive Ordnance Disposal flight in deployed location in support of Operation INHERENT RESOLVE. Ensured the safety of 4,300 coalition forces and $1 billion worth of assets from explosive related threats. Resulted in seamless operations tempo for duration of deployment. • Developed operational plan and managed mission to recover a $7M Royal Air Force asset from a heavily contested area in Bagdad, Iraq. The successful mission safely returned classified and hazardous items to the owner. • Provided blast prevention and mitigation assessments for Manas Transit Center at Manas International Airport, Kyrgyzstan. Improved base security from perceived Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) threats. Provided IED protection assessment for infrastructure vital to mission accomplishment. Resulted in enhanced protection of Air Force assets which were vital to mission accomplishments in Afghanistan. • Managed the construction and safety citing of an Explosive Ordnance Disposal range project used by joint forces throughout the Area of Responsibility (AOR). Site became the only approved disposal area for four (4) Gulf Coalition Council (GCC) countries. The Range provided capabilities detrimental to the safe disposal of hazardous munitions. Show less
