Michael is with SOI-Micro (FD SOI Foundry) as EVP (acting CEO) and Co-Founder. Prior to SOI-Micro, he was with TongFu MicroElectronics (SZ: 002156, Revenue $2 Billion 2017) as Executive VP / CBO (Chief Business Offier) and Head of CEO Office. Prior to TongFu， Michael was with XMC/YMTC as EVP and CBO. Before that, Michael was General Manger at Pericom/Diodes (NSDQ: PSEM/DIOD) for 14 years and delivered switch and bridge chips of PCIE, USB and PCI/X. Michael has previously served as Department Manager of FPGA/CPLD of Lattice (NSDQ: LSCC). Prior to this, Michael served as a Department Manager with AG Associate (NSDQ: AGAC) for embedded system. Michael has previously served as Engineering Manager at Cadence (NSDQ: CDNS). Michael also has been with four start-up companies, they were LogicVision (IPO, NSDQ:LVGN), CrossCheck (acquired by OKI) , Aimfast and PTL(acquired by Pericom) as various positions, like CEO and Vice President. He received “Best Product Award” of EDN 94.In professional networking, Michael has strong connections with Bay Area, China and Taiwan system companies, chip design and government. He served as world-wide chairman of CASPA (Chinese American Semiconductor Professional Association) of 2001~2002 and he still serves as advisor. He involved Taiwan NSC and NII published Taiwan SOC White-Paper (1999 ~2002). Michael served as Taiwan NSC SOC coordinator and CIC advisor. He serves as an advisor for the following China hi-tech development districts: Beijing, ShenZheng and Jinan. Michael published two books and several papers. He is serving as guest professor of Shanghai Jiao-Tong and offering classes in Stanford. Michael received MS EE from Penn State University.Specialties: Experience in driving P&L up to billion dollar.
