I manage the Association for Change in Education - Established by the Rashi Foundation. The Association for Change in Education (ACE) is the first and the largest of eight subsidiary NGO's established by the Rashi Foundation - one of the largest and most dynamic private foundations in Israel. ACE, founded in 2004, operates nation-wide educational programming to help support and empower public pre and elementary schools across Israel's socio-economic and geographic periphery to bridge educational and social gaps. ACE operates as well welfare programming to benefit and support youth at risk in Israel's central region. ACE works closely with the relevant Israeli government ministries, around 50 municipalities/regional authorities and close to twenty philanthropic partners from Israel and abroad to impact daily tens of thousands of Israeli youth in hundreds of schools across Israel's periphery. ACE is Israel's largest operator of elementary school intervention programming in the periphery through its three main programs:•Milat – Extending and upgrading the school day - impacting more than 35,000 pupils in underprivileged localities (Ministry of Education tender) •Karev Progam - seeks to achieve educational-social change to promote the reducing of gaps and encourages equal opportunities in Israeli society by means of enrichment activities and empowerment in the education system- impacting more than 250,000 pupils all over Israel.(Ministry of Education tender held jointly with the Israel Association of Community Centers•Revadim Initiative – a support network to empower and renew Israel's public elementary schools –operates in about 70 schools across Israel's periphery – impacting more than 20,000 pupils.ACE is overseen and directed by a volunteer Board of Directors chaired by Benny Vaknin, the former Mayor of Ashkelon.
