Drove lean implementation throughout value stream and increased on-time delivery from 62% to 89% for the value stream. Lean improvements and manpower re-allocations allowed absorption of additional $2.5M of revenue into $11M value stream without increased headcount. Smartly invested capital in production equipment, resulting in $150K per year savings in overtime/outsourcing expense. Implemented Cell Level Daily Management with KPI’s specific to each location to allow tracking of productivity and drive accountability.

Directly oversaw the execution of the National Search and Rescue Plan of the United States in the coordination of complex, high-visibility, multi-jurisdictional, and multi-national Search and Rescue missions under the responsibility of the Commander, United States Northern Command. Coordinated with 48 states, as well as the governments of Mexico and Canada to provide life-saving assistance to distressed United States citizens and foreign nationals. Coordinated and authored search and rescue policies, documents and reports at the Senior Executive Service and General Officer level as a subject matter expert to the National Search and Rescue Committee.
