Percon Construction is a great construction firm that is leading by example in the ICI sector. With Percon I had the opportunity to act as Project Manager where responsibilities entailed managing the office activities as they relate to the construction site. Problem solving, implementing changes to original contracts, monitor project activities and advancements and liaison between project owners, consultants, local authorities and site personal are just a few of the responsibilities that were part of everyday activities.

Wallman Architects is a leading architectural firm that is paving the way for residential design in Toronto. As project architect, responsibilities included all aspects of pre-design, design development and construction documentation, including guiding and assisting team members and clients. With a thorough understanding of the Toronto Green Standards, responsibilities involved the careful planning and preparation of documents to achieve Tier 2 recognition for the Post House development, while assisting in the analysis of other LEED related projects in the office. Together with one other co-worker, additional office responsibilities included developing and implementing office standards for areas related to AutoCad, drafting, and building details.

Cohos Evamy (currently Dialog) is a multi-disciplinary design firm that enjoys a strong presence in Toronto and Canada thanks to its hard work and dedication towards a sustainable built environment. During my time with the firm I was responsible for an international retail/commercial client account, leading a group of up to six team members from pre-design through to construction documents, while also ensuring tasks were performed on time and on budget. As one of the senior construction managers of the Toronto office’s contract administration team, provided guidance for co-workers when required, while performing contract administration duties Significantly contributed to the successful completion of construction documents for Bankers Court, a 16-storey tower in Calgary, which received LEED Gold certification and lead to a repeat client and several other commissions. Have participated in the preparation of the firm’s AutoCad and drafting standards, and together with other colleagues, lead the Quality Assurance Committee for the firm.
