I… Show more As a Health Policy Analyst in the Office of Health Services (OHS) for the Medicaid program I primarily lead and coordinated provider enrollment, compliance, and regulation activities within OHS. I provided policy analysis and programmatic support in the development and implementation of high priority Medicaid provider compliance projects such as provider re-validation, provider re-enrollment, provider site visits, provider compliance audits, and program and operations manuals for providers. I lead the coordination of regulations for Health Care Financing, including technical assistance writing new regulations. I also researched, evaluated, and analyzed policies and data regarding the Medicaid Program in order to develop provider communication materials. Other duties included meeting with the Division Chief of Health Policy and Director of Policy and Compliance on a daily basis to provide information on specific issues; to seek input on policy or program issues; and to recommend policy positions or actions. I also worked with the Executive Director of OHS, the Senior Policy Advisor to the Deputy Secretary, Regulations Coordination Director, and the Office of the Investigator General for the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, all other OHS Directors, Deputy Directors and Division Chiefs on an as needed basis to provide necessary information and coordinate communication activities.
