Identified process improvements in the repossession process and facilitated the recovery of approximately $20 million dollars in vehicles previously deemed unrecoverable in the year 2019/2020. Resolved title perfection cases by working with the Loan Services department, auto dealerships, DMV offices, and other offices to facilitate successful addition of a lien. Collaborated with external remarketing partners coordinating the appropriate value and sale of repossessed vehicles resulting in a significant reduction in vehicle charge off. Lead internal departments and external partners on legal cases, with includes testifying in court cases, submitting documents pertinent to the case, and developing strategies on how best to pursue legal action in cases of replevin, suit, foreclosure and bankruptcy. Resolve delinquent mortgages in pre-foreclosure and in foreclosure by means of payment and/or modification. Resolved over $20 million dollars in the credit unions mortgage delinquency to date in 2020/2021 decreasing the credit union’s mortgage delinquency rate from .64% to .42%.
