Was hired in 1999 to manage the QC department at Angeles in charge of insuring quality parts for production.Moved into Product design to create new product, enhance current products, metal to plastic conversions and multi part assemblies into single part.Was involved with part compliance and material certification.Operated XRF equipment to test for heavy metals.After merging with Children's Factory.Finalized implementation of plastic wrap to corrugate with the use of a Packsize box machine.Placed as Department Lead.Implementation of a Baumer foam saw into production.Redesigned, doubled production and increased the storage capacity of our Bean Bag fill operation.Redesigned and doubled the capacity of our vacuum system used to shrink foam blocks so they can be installed into vinyl covers.Currently reorganizing placement of departments within the factory to eliminate wasted moment and transportation to decrease waste and increase workflow and speed of production.Eliminated 2 hazardous operations and transportation of scrap foam usage in the pillow production process by relocating the pillow production area and installing a larger shredder that empties into a large hopper directly above the use location.In early 2022, I have come full circle accepting a role back in Quality and Compliance

Verifying dealership parts orders.Inspected and tracked damaged returns to reduce false claims, mishandling of product and packaging errors.

Completed Pre Production Approval Packets for such customers as Briggs and Stratton, Porter Cable, Maybelline and various sub auto component suppliers. Heavily complied studies composed of SPC data, Initial Sample Inspection Reports, FMEA and Process Flow Diagrams. Provided support to mold makers, designers and engineers.Maintained production/ ECN samples, MSDS and Material Certifications, Print control.Was responsible for generating easy to follow instructions for both the floor auditors and machine operators to ensure parts were correctly packaged and inspected.Was a core team member for the QA department when we went QS-9000.
