I'm an operations management professional with more than 25 years of experience. I have extensive experience in facilities maintenance, project management, construction, design development, shipping and receiving, fleet management, environmental health and safety, environmental services, audio visual entertainment systems, business continuity, and emergency action planning.I’m a seasoned leader with a reputation for developing and leading high-performance teams. I’ve managed diverse departments with a staff of more than 150 professionals. I take tremendous pride in developing people and learning from those around me. I believe that the greatest successes are achieved as the result of working in a cohesive team.I’ve managed projects of more than $200 million including new construction, major site relocations, renovations, and facility openings and closures. I was the member of the executive team responsible for the successful development, construction, and commissioning of a $1 billion dollar resort with hotel, pool, convention center, spa, and casino.I managed national facilities operations with 11 sites across the country from Washington to Florida. I have negotiated and administered national contracts for favorable savings and enhanced services.I have studied LEAN manufacturing and take a particular interest in continuous improvement to optimize systems to achieve the most favorable outcomes . I’ve attended multiple International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) World Workplace conventions, two LEAN leadership learning tours of Toyota and GE, a LEAN Learning Institute conference and a behavioral based safety summit at Appalachian State University to name a few.I have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google, MS Project, computer aided facilities management (CAFM), AutoCAD, Building management systems, Bluebeam, work order programs, Adobe Professional and various finance programs.I continue to expand my professional knowledge through training and seminars. I obtained a certificate for Achieving Excellence in Hospitality from Sonoma State University and a New York State Insurance Agent License. I have OSHA 30 certification and I’m qualified to implement emergency action plans.I’m happy to offer my services as a consultant to any project, big or small.
