Engineer responsible for the development and maintenance of repair schemes and processes for Aircraft Electrical Power Generation Equipment and motors.My responsibilities include:Development of Repair specifications which include creation of drawings using AutoCAD 2D and 3D Software, repair process instructions, test criteria, bills of material using ERP software, develop tooling required and processes for production/repair staff.Review of OEM Overhaul Manuals/Component Maintenance Manuals to ensure repair Generator overhauls, specifications and parts are in compliance.Liaising with the Aviation regulatory Authorities i.e. IAA, EASA, FAA etc. to ensure HS Shannon`s repair schemes, processes, parts are in compliance with aviation regulations and to seek Aviation authority approval for new repairs, processes and parts.As my employer is an EASA Part 21 Subpart J approved organisation (Ref EASA Approval number EASA 21.J372) act as a CVE (Compliance Verification Engineer) to ensure that HS Shannon approved designs/repairs comply with EASA Part 21 terms of approval and airworthiness regulations.Providing continuing technical support to UTAS Shannon`s Repair staff and Release to Service Certifying Inspectors.Assist OEM Engineering Staff on repair issues and technical queries.Train repair staff on new product/repair processes and procedures.Train and help develop Student Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineers as part of my employers Internship/Co-operative Education Scheme. Provide technical input and assist Quality staff in warranties/failure analysisProvide technical support to Customer Service and Production Staff

Responsible for repair of various aircraft electrical power generation and motor parts as per HS Shannon`s repair specifications. My main responsibilities included:-Stripping including wire removal and blasting of motor /generator parts.-Insulation, wire installation and connection (rewind) of motor/generator parts.-Impregnation of motor / generator parts.-Painting and finishing parts as required.-Final assembly and testing of electrical motor / generator parts.-Repair of various prototype motor / generator parts
