Michael Cobb has been an active management consultant and corporate executive for over 25 years. A full range of services include corporate restructuring and finance, mergers and acquisitions and financial planning. He is an accomplished public speaker, presenting many seminars to business owners.He has managed and consulted with manufacturing operations for most of his business career, including a division of Omark Industries, at that time a Fortune 1000 company with worldwide manufacturing and sales based in Portland, Oregon. Recently he has helped companies secure reliable manufacturing sources for a wide range of products. He previously served as President and CEO of Robbins Auto Top, Inc., a US based manufacturing company with significant international sales. He was instrumental in the successful sale of this company.Mr. Cobb has also played key roles in organizing, financing and operating start-up companies. As managing partner for the consulting practice of a regional CPA firm, he advised clients on operational, financial and merger and acquisition activities.Mr. Cobb received his BA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Washington and his MBA in Accounting from Seattle University. After serving as a US Navy officer he joined the banking industry, where he worked for eight years. His last role in the industry was as Senior Lender for First Interstate Bank of Oregon, the largest bank in the state. From this position he joined the company of one of his clients, who was involved in international manufacturing and sales. His contacts and working experience in Asia, particularly in China, extends over 30 years.Mr. Cobb’s consulting practice, including operational support, financial restructuring and merger and acquisition activities, has extended over twenty five years.
