Responsible to ensure the nuclear Fire Protection programs meet all regulatory, program, and staffing requirements. Responsible for the Fire Protection Training Program, to include oversight for design, development and implementation of training and drills. Provide oversight for the Fire Marshalls for both Salem and Hope Creek Stations. Responsible for direct oversight of three personnel (HC Fire Marshall, Salem Fire Marshall and Fire Protection Training Instructor). Provide oversight of Fire Protection Work Week Management to ensure all surveillances and work gets completed within regulatory requirements. Primary owner of all Fire Protection specific programs and to ensure each of the programs are developed and maintained in accordance with all regulatory guidance and requirements and will incorporate industry operational experience.

Responsible for assisting the Manager- Fire department in managing the various aspects of the PSEG Nuclear Fire Department. This includes; ensuring consistent processes/performance from shift to shift, line ownership of training oversight, department budget management and special project oversight. Act as the Fire Department Manager in his/her absence. Provide oversight of the Fire Department Operations in accordance with training, station procedures, security plan and regulatory requirements.

Performance of surveillance's, periodic test, and maintenance of fire protection components and systems, plant inspections, Emergency Response Activities: Fire Alarm Response, EMS & Hazmat Response and administration of the Fire Protection Program.

Operate, Test and Maintain all Fire Protection Equipment. Respond to fire alarms and all emergency incidents.

Receive and issue material, supplies, tools and equipment, move, handle, unpack, count, weigh and measure materials, tools, supplies and equipment, tag arrange and store material and supplies, prepare material for storage or shipment, take inventories of material, supplies and equipment, clean storeroom material, tools and supplies. Maintain storerooms and storeroom equipment in a neat and orderly condition, perform the necessary clerical work related to this work, operate all types of forklifts and transporting equipment, operate miscellaneous hand tools such as power hack saws, power pipe cutting machines etc. Perform other similar or less skilled work in the occupational group.

Sweep, mop and clean floors, walls, windows, ceiling, stairways and furniture in buildings, offices, restaurant, locker rooms and toilets, Operate laundry, clean and make minor repairs to building cleaning equipment, distribute toilet and lavatory supplies, assist Chef and other employees in the restaurant and perform other similar or less skilled duties of the occupational group.
