From 1974 to 1994 I was a member of the Air Force where I learned my leadership and management skills. I also worked in rocket engine technology and nuclear weapons systems. I retired in 1993 and went to work for Pure Air, Inc. where I was the General Manager for 14 years. I gained another Associates degree in computer information security and changed my job to computer systems analyst for Springleaf Financial. I worked there for 10 years and made a move to Colorado where I worked as the Security/Safety Manager. In 2017 I relocated back to Indiana and retired. In late 2018, the owner of Pure Air asked me to return and fill in as the GM and Safety Director. I did so in January 2019 and I'm still there.
