Tasked with stitching multiple camera image into seamless single image projection for VR sphere. This included utilizing PTGui stitch software for STMap creation to help drive the warp correction, compositing and painting out artifacts created in the retiming and stiching process. Also tasked with compositing and painting out artifacts created in the stereoscopic conversion process of taking a singular image and deconstructing and reconstructing into 2 images for Left and Right eye. Involved procedural compositing techniques (clean plating, tracking, matchmoving, 3D projections, color correction and roto work as well as frame by frame artifact removal).

Stereo Compositor/Paint:Tasked with compositing and painting out artifacts created in the stereoscopic conversion process. Involved procedural compositing techniques (clean plating, tracking, matchmoving, 3D projections, color correction and roto work as well as frame by frame “stereo” paint).Element QC Compositor:Tasked with working with vendors and their submissions and preparing and restaging elements for use in StereoD pipeline. This process involved ingesting and breaking down vendor supplied composited files (Nuke, Fusion,AE) re-compositing to match final plates and baking down elements, troubleshooting errors and pipeline discrepancies, repairing and/or fixing errors if possible (including color correction, tracking fixes, patch fixes, retimes, broken gizmo repair, channel fixes, Deep comp conversion to A/B comp) and tracking elements while supporting artists throughout pipeline. Also part of the intial team that tested and developed tools for the studio. Assisted other artists in understanding and use of tools and processes.

Tasked with alignment, color correction and convergence of stereo plates. Often required roto/patches, manipulation using Nuke and Ocula based toolsets, selective color correction, compositing of elements, whatever it took to match L/R eyes. Also part of the initial team that tested and developed tools for the studio. Assisted other artists in understanding and use of tools and processes.

Composite cg and 2d elements including pull keys, removal of rigs, wires, etc..., rotoscope, retime plate elements color correction, and 2.5D projection, utilizing Nuke. Worked as part of team and served as support for lead compositors while tackling my own shots.

Removal of rigs, wires, etc..., rotoscope, pull keys and work closely with compositors to final shots, utilizing procedural, hand paint, 3D projection within proprietary compositing and paint applications (ICY, ICY3d and ICYPaint). Also helped test and put into action stereoscopic tools for pitch piece.
