I started my career in the telecommunications industry in 1978 by accident while on vacation in Boulder, Colorado. My friend and I were out at a local restaurant and meet the owners of a cable construction company. We struck up a conversation about the industry and the type of company they were running. I started working for them the very next day as a ground hand on a aerial construction crew. I went back to KCMO 6 weeks later packed up my furniture tied up loose ends and moved to Boulder. So fast forwarding some 38 years later here I am in a industry that is more addictive than any drug on the market. I cannot image myself working in any other construction industry other than the Telecommunications industry. I have been on the management side of this industry for over 15 years. Currently I am retired but would take a position with a company In KCMO.
