I'm the Head of IT at the Independent Liquor Group Co-operative, a major Liquor Wholesaler in Australia. In this role I oversee all aspects of IT within the business, including networking and infrastructure, software development, project management and IT support. Managing a small team of professional developers, together we have produced several software solutions used within the business and by our customers.Before joining ILG I worked as a software developer at Mount Hay Technology where I was involved in the development of enterprise grade applications capable of handling 100K+ transactions a day. Software development is something I am still very passionate about, and I enjoy a hands on role in all areas of my current position. Managing projects is certainly my favorite part of the role, from working with key business unit stakeholders and understanding their objectives, to brainstorming ideas and solutions within the team.
