Furthermore, the internal paint used in Wunderhaus not only lacks harmful chemicals but also actively removes CO2 from the surrounding atmosphere during the curing process.Wunderhaus generates its power from a 30kw bespoke solar roof made up of 72 solar PV panels of 425 watts each. This is capable of generating TWICE as much energy than it consumes via an average of 27805.64kwh per year on average in the South of the UK. This is the equivalent of 2790 trees per annum or 5,580kg of Co2 when considering a single adult tree stores 2kg each year.This energy can either be stored within the 35kW battery, used for day to day functioning of the house, heating of the hot water, sold back to the grid or downloaded into an electric vehicle via the 22kW EV charger. The amount of energy a Wunderhaus produces requires it to be a 3 phase system which allows you to export 3x the nominal amount to the grid without requiring a special DNO licence. This means that a maximum of 11.25kw can be sent back in a single day.
