My primary focus is insurance, surety and cross-border matters. I am a passionate advocate for my clients at all levels of the British Columbia and Alberta courts. I have considerable experience in everything from handling complex multi-party liability claims to reviewing and drafting policies, and prosecuting and defending surety claims. My experience includes jury and non-jury trials.Apart from insurance law, I have been successful in defeating class actions and have handled defences involving difficult medical issues, complicated economic loss claims and contentious liability. Outside of the office, I teach law at a Vancouver college. I also fly planes, travel, and practise my photography skills.
