Program ManagerSky Solutions Mar 2023 - PresentHerndon, Virginia, UsAs the Program Manager over our IRS work, I have been able to grow our IRS program from 6 resources on 1 Subcontract, up to 24 resources across 4 subcontracts by Jan 2024. I was heavily involved in subcontract growth, driving negotiations, submissions, placement and success with our vendor partners.Two main areas of focus for this role are: Delivery and management of existing contracts, and relationship, knowledge, and customer growth for new opportunities.=Growth=Driving growth from within my client / customer facing roles involves I split into 3 categories1) Vendor-to-vendor relations, involves working closely with large partner vendors on new opportunities, new teaming agreements, staffing, and new customer contacts.2) Customer relations. Meeting new customers, growing our relationships and footprint within the Federal Agency I serve (IRS)3) Customer Technology Solutions. Our program solutions Use Cases for customers, creating POCs, Demos, Whitepapers to work from and further increase our collaboration and PWin.=Delivery Management=Managing our ongoing prime contracts and subcontract relationships. In order to accomplish this, I brought together a team of 4 individuals to begin building out and supporting an organizational PMO. From this, I then trained and empowered a local representative within our Program to verify PMO compliance and best practices. This empowered us to drive both Contract and Customer success with the greatest level of visibility and control.The other side of delivery management is Employee growth. I have now promoted 3 team members to become direct report managers. 2 of these managers I have also assigned the responsibility of PMO oversight for our prime work, the other I gave Domain Expertise solutioning for our growth work. Coaching and mentoring is core to the Program Manager role as I have grown our account, more reliable and capable leaders are vital. -
