I have over 16 years of experience in business management, financial analysis and financial program development. Prior to working at HP I worked 4 years at Deloitte & Touche LLP in public accounting, performing financial auditing for the public, private and government sectors.At HP, I have functioned primarily as a senior financial analyst in which I partnered and influenced the business decisions for the business units that I supported. Some of the financial analysis that were performed include NPV (lease vs. buy) for a new phone system in the Roseville, CA site, credit analysis for our suppliers, negotiation support for existing suppliers and influenced business decisions for management via forecasting and expense analysis. In addition, I was part of a new business pursuit team to sell additional services to potential customers and performed the financial analysis for the deal. While at HP, most of the businesses that I have partnered with were Information Technology related and New Product Generation for our Server Business. I have also worked with the HR function as well, serving as their financial analyst near the beginning of my career. I am proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and in Macromedia Cold Fusion web development (automated a lot of financial reporting to web). In 2002, I was awarded Most Valuable Player for our HP Services division for my cost analysis of new services that HP was offering. This award is given annually to the top 5% of employees in the company. I am a self-starter, team player and can work well both in groups and as an individual.
