Direct team of 14 storage and backup administrators located in two locations in India. • Implement cloud based NFS service via XXXXXX platform.• Help institute an incident response STORAGE RED team for performance & data inaccessible investigations impacting ADP clients. This SWAT team was comprised of select storage team members and I assisted with regular training sessions and adopting a methodical triage process. • SME for all Oracle RMAN local host and network based backups & restore issues. Reduced Oracle RMAN backup durations for several high profile ADP products by at least 30% by identifying process improvement opportunities and testing/implementing appropriate changes. Solid understanding of the Oracle RMAN backup and recovery operations. • Recover critical client data by resolving complex restore problems in a timely manner thus saving millions in contracts for ADP by not violating Service Level Agreements and helping to maintain client retention. • Design & configure customized alerting including threshold based performance alerting for many storage platforms. • Enable NAS security by configuring encryption and file scanning
