We partner with school districts to share best practices in social and emotional learning, stress reduction and mindfulness with students and educators. In my role I interface with university faculty, district administration and internal team members to foster productive partnerships and a culture of continuous improvement.- Form, connect and support multi-disciplinary research teams to study and report on health and wellness/SEL research programs embedded in school districts partnerships. - Author awarded service proposals for large urban school districts.- Author internal and outward facing reporting products- Complete multi-stage certification and approval processes with organizations such as; Collaborative of -Academic, Social and Emotional Learning (CASEL), New York City Department of Education, University and Medical Institutional Review Boards.- Share formative and summative program outcomes to inform leadership on program strengths and opportunities for improvement; partner with curriculum team toward continuous improvement model. --- Lead data driven decision making sessions.

I teach Data Driven Decision Making, Education Research Methodology and Qualitative Research Methods in Education.

CEPAL and MTLC are two research centers based in the University of San Diego's School of Leadership and Education Sciences. As a Senior Research Associate I lead a team of researchers working to answer complex research questions based in and around schools. Key areas that we work in include mobile technology, health and wellness and education policy.I take an active role in proposal development, design, data collection, analysis and reporting.
