Regional Sales Manager for the Chicago area, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, and North/South Dakota

•Analyze new applications for viability of case-packing automation; Identify correct equipment for new applications based on information received from regional sales managers•Create equipment sales proposals for customer applications; Quote/price equipment based on product specifications and facility sanitation/electrical requirements•Design layouts within AutoCAD software to ensure that new equipment will safely and comfortably fit within customer facilities; Gather feedback from customers to optimize revisions •Work with OEM suppliers to integrate non-BPA equipment into turnkey solutions•Develop robotic simulations to determine robot capacity and capability for a given application•Identify potential difficulties within applications; collaborate with our engineering team (and OEM suppliers) to design solutions for challenges •Lead/assist with customer calls/visits to explain function and design of automation equipment•Represent BPA at trade shows; Explain functionality of new BPA equipment to potential and exisiting customers•Interact with Spanish-speaking guests at trade shows/on sales calls; Explain functionality of equipment in Spanish; Translate information from Spanish specifications and RFQs•Host customers at our Richmond, VA facility during factory acceptance tests and site visits•Assist with equipment factory acceptance tests; record reference footage for internal use and potential customers

•Development Engineer in the Business Development group responsible for creating new extruded foam products targeting markets outside the current company portfolio •Responsible for developing extrusion process to create new foam profiles based on customer requirements and utilizing different plastic compounds and materials to create foam that meet outlined performance criteria•Create SOPs for extrusion process; Set-up and operate extruder by properly organizing and maintaining upstream material flow and downstream conversion equipment•Design and model tooling for different foam profiles using SolidWorks and AutoCAD; work with local CNC shop to fabricate tooling and other hardware•Develop product specification drawings to ensure quality of process and products after handover to Operations •Create Excel files to organize and store previous development trial data, customer requirements, material inventory, lab data, and growth study information•Build process flow presentations outlining step-by-step documentation of newly developed product before handover to Operations; lead internal large group meetings during handover process•Rapid prototyping for potential customers using current state products and in-house conversion equipment•Traveling with Business Development team on customer visits for better product understanding
