Analyzes enemy counterfire trends and tactics to produce accurate estimations for future enemy indirect fires. Leads and supervises the Brigade, Division, or Corps level counterfire cell during military operations. Plans, writes and disseminates the counterfire operation plan within the boundaries of the commanders guidance to subordinate units. Acts as the primary advisor to the senior fires commander for RADAR operations.

As a Field Artillery Targeting Officer (MOS 131A) I am the commanders resource for all aspects of targeting, target menseration, RADAR, and target production. Currently working as the Target Acquisition Platoon Leader I supervise and lead the planning, emplacement, and operation of multiple advanced Army RADAR systems across the battle field as well as the target processing section. The target acquisition platoon ensures effective force protection measures against enemy rocket, artillery, and mortar fire.

Provides security and safety to facility, staff, and patients. Duties include: facility entrance security, facility inspections, unit and patient searches, and admissions operations. Officers are expected to use physical as well as verbal skills to deescalate and intervene in altercations between patients and other individuals inside the facility. Officers will provide inspection of buildings, doors, and electric fences to ensure full operations and maintain the intact security of the facility. Officers prevent the escape of patients. Security operations are conducted by the use of vehicle, patrols, and advanced video monitoring systems. Correctional Officer II (SGT) maintains and provides educational training for their assigned shift and work area. Assigned to a maximum security unit providing 24 hour security monitoring and movement of dangerous patients to and from treatment groups. Officers assigned to this unit are expected to support therapeutic treatment to patients by providing a secure environment and helping with treatment. I am well versed in anger management skills, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) methods, and other treatment related curriculum.

Specialize in supervising anywhere from a squad to platoon sized element in Field Artillery HIMARS operations. Identify and verify targeting coordinates, tactical artillery operations, and crew training. Expected to be able to lead small group tactical operations both on and off assigned equipment, employ own section and platoon elements per commanders guidance to ensure mission success.
