I have worked in the barristers’ chambers environment for 35 years at Magic Circle and leading commercial and commercial / chancery practices. Consequently, I have acquired a substantial network of contacts within law firms including Magic Circle, Mid-Town, West End and regional across the range of commercial litigation, insolvency litigation, company, fraud, arbitration (domestic and international) and property litigation. Additionally, I have forged a wide range of insolvency practitioner contacts across London and the regions as well as maintaining connections at the Bar, both clerks and barristers.I have been active (initially on the periphery) in the litigation funding and ATE markets for 14 years. This originated with my forging a relationship with the founders of Vannin Capital, beginning in early 2008: this at a time when the litigation funding market was still nascent in the UK. This relationship evolved into a symbiotic arrangement with my referring cases requiring litigation finance and where Vannin would instruct members of my then chambers to provide a third-party perspective in relation to their investment due diligence. I am very well acquainted with the entire funding market as well as that of After the Event insurance.www.lexolent.com#wearelexolent #legalfinance #barristers
