Kuwait

• Provided technical support for migration of telecommunication services from one location to new communications facility on Camp Arifjan including circuit actions, facility equipment installation, test and acceptance of transmission equipment, installing of new NX1000 Promina to provide Voice to IP. • Providing installation plans, circuit planning and equipment test and acceptance. Understanding instrumentation schematic drawings with knowledge on various types of instruments relating to temperature, flow, pressure, level, vibrations, interlocks & timers, DCS and SCADA systems. • Conducting in house instrument designs and make necessary calculations, familiar with microwave links and remote RTUs & ROCs, inspects and analyze existing system, determines condition of systems and verifies operating parameters for accuracy, performs tests and troubleshooting of existing systems.

Afghanistan

Provided technical controller services in support of geographically dispersed communications support programs located throughout Africa and south West Asia. Managed analyses of telecommunications requirements and ensure development of fully integrated solutions. Use FACIT (Trouble Tickets). Managed 10 telecom Facilities throughout Afghanistan a total of 10 sites with 50 people in total. Guided NOC operations throughout the SWA area” South West Asia… Including Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan and Europe. Maintain KIV-19/KIV-19A, KIV-7HSB, 175 Taclanes and KG75 Fastlanes, Worked on SIPR/NIPR Networks, CANOGA PERKINS FIBER MODEMS, Pairgain Modems, TellabsT-Coders, Marconi ATM Switches, Using Fireberd 6000, 8000, ECI DTX 360 and 240 Voice compression, and DC Power plants (AEG 400V III Phase system) and Promina 400 & 800 systems. Responsible for network architecture, modeling, interfaces, protocols, timing, synchronization, power, rack layout and site layout. Network management functions including design, modeling, installation, implementation, fault resolution, performance management, security, training, configuration management and network control and repairs voice and non-voice communications systems/circuits including intercom, fire Alarm circuits, electronic and terminal and communications equipment. Developed list of materials (LOMs), and coordinates with appropriate organizations and Work Centers for action.
