At HDR, I was responsible for design and quantity calculations, cost estimates, and drafting for bridge and other transportation projects at various stages of design. I was primarily involved in structural design work and construction field services for various MBTA transit stations in Boston, Cambridge, and greater Massachusetts. Services for these projects included structural design of elevator and station accessibility retrofits ranging from conceptual to final design, analysis of existing structures, as well as construction field review services, updates to design plans based on field conditions, coordination of interdisciplinary communication, and review of shop drawings and RFIs. Other responsibilities at HDR included on-site bridge inspections, bridge load rating reports and calculations, and design of bridge rehabilitation plans and details.

As part of the Capital Planning & Project Management Department at Harvard, I worked directly for the owner's project manager on a historic-building rehabilitation project on the university campus. Responsibilities included the management of the owner’s records of submittals and RFIs, and the keeping of a daily log of site activity and photos for the duration of the project.

During my time at the City of Boston’s water and sewer department, I assisted the Design Engineers by performing field surveys used in the design of municipal water and sewer projects.

Oversaw operation of the Corkscrew roller coaster, including the management of employee rotations through various ride positions throughout each day.
