Mike has over 15 years of experience in the commercial construction industry. He has a proven track record in the management of commercial construction projects for a variety of markets, including: SCIF, Mission Critical, Base Building, Hospitality and Commercial Interiors. With a portfolio of award-winning projects, Mike brings a passion for building to every project. In his role with CK Commercial, Mike is responsible for providing the leadership and vision critical to the success of each project. He ensures that all client goals are met through careful and thorough planning and management. Mike is fully versed in all areas of project management; including estimating, purchasing, financial and construction management.

As Vice President / Team Lead, Mike was responsible for pre-construction services, pricing / procurement activities, for the planning and management of each project’s technical staff. He provided oversight for projects to ensure compliance with company quality control standards and client satisfaction. He provided executive support to the entire Project Team. Mike also provided oversight of all contract related matters.Mike introduced, developed, and implemented many new practices like Project Scheduling, the Project/Field Engineer Program, the QC program/Rolling Completion Log, the Subcontractor Safety Orientation Program, Weekly Toolbox Talks, Subcontractor Daily Reports, Superintendent Daily Reports, Material Tracking Logs, Project Team Meetings, Job Site Document Control Procedures, Electronic Document Control Procedures, and Quarterly Superintendent/ Project Manager Meetings. Mike also improved and updated many operational procedures such as OSHA Certification requirements, Internal Accounting Procedures, First Aide/CPR requirements, Electronic and Print Marketing Rebranding, Pull-Back Planning Scheduling, Project Meeting Minutes/Agendas, Subcontractor Change Order Procedures, and Project Specific Subcontractor Scopes of Work.Mike was also responsible for interviewing, hiring new team members, creating and revising job descriptions.
