Regular maintenance, repair and building of elementary and secondary school playgrounds in the Brant County area

Participated in the Ontario Summer Company Program for students that enabled me to own and operate my own business. I ran a hockey school for children aged 5-16 throughout the summer months of March to August. I ran a 8am-4pm day where children would come and spend the day participating in on-ice skill sessions developed towards each individual players needs, off-ice training and ball hockey. Campers would also participate in other fun activities such as air hockey, mini-sticks, soccer games that would develop skills in not only other sports, but communicational skills with the kids' fellow campers. Near the end of the camp week, the players would participate in on-ice games that would prepare them for their upcoming season. By running my company, this taught me how to successfully operate a business and the challenges with doing so. I learned how to market my business, operate the financial aspects such as balance sheets and cash flow charts, as well as overall ownership and management of a company. I plan to continue operation of my business once my own hockey career ends.
