This model accurately forecasts the accrual and timing of Dental Weighted Activity Units and when their subsequent costs will be realised, empowering data-driven decision-making for precise project planning and budgeting.• Consistently surpass activity targets ahead of schedule and under budget despite COVID-19, its subsequent restrictions on public dental care, and staffing constraints during the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 Dental FFAs.• Manage grant proposals and funding agreements for non-governmental organisations (NGOs), ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines.• Steer the Dental FFA Project Control Group meetings, delivering comprehensive project updates, proactively resolving issues, and presenting at DHS’ Annual Managers’ Meeting.• Demonstrate effective financial stewardship with oversight of at least $15 million in funds for the 2023-24 financial year, encompassing private subsidy schemes, NGOs, and wage management.• As of August 2023, following a substantial increase in private subsidy scheme utilisation, we had achieved remarkable reductions in recall wait times from 41 to 20 months and initial wait times from 14 to 6 months. Ongoing efforts continue to drive further reductions in wait times.• Provide clinicians and executives with routine and on-demand reports, delivering valuable insights into operational efficiency and performance. Utilised data from DHS’ Dental Information Management System (DenIM), extracting and compiling reports as interactive HTML pages using R, sourced from an OpenEdge Relational Database Management System.
