With over 20 years of experience in library management, I am a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified professional who led the operations and finance of Timberland Regional Library, a public library system serving five counties in Washington State. As the Executive Director, I oversaw the strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, and service delivery of 27 branches, serving over 400,000 residents. I also partnered with the Board of Trustees, local governments, community organizations, and donors to secure funding, enhance partnerships, and increase public awareness and support for the library. Some of my achievements include implementing a new organizational structure, reducing operating costs by 15%, increasing patron satisfaction by 20%, and launching innovative programs and services, such as mobile outreach, digital literacy, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
