As part of my role as an integral member of the engineering team my duties and responsibilities include:- Organising Loler and Puwer assessments and actioned issues raised- Implementing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) systems for machinery and factory facilities- Creating standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and risk assessments (RA’s) for all manufacturing equipment- Creating planned preventative maintenance (PPM) calendar for long and short term maintenance- Keeping logs of all breakdowns and used spares- Implementing Lock out, Tag out (LOTO) system for all machinery- Worked to improve production processes to reduce downtime and increase productivity- Attending breakdown repairs (vacuum lifters, CNC, conveyors, saws, multifunction bridges, BEA pneumatic air tools)

My duties and responsibilities included:- Dealing face to face with customers daily on emergency and scheduled jobs- Working independently and being self sufficient- Being the first ‘on scene’ and being the face of the company- Diagnostics and fault finding on boilers, central heating systems, wiring- Repairs (boilers, pressurised systems, open vented systems, radiators, pipework, gas fires, warm air units, cookers, aga’s, pressurised cylinders)- Maintaining van stocks and essential tools and equipment- Recording data and safety critical information- Communicating with team members and different areas of the business- Extensive wiring fault finding to resolve complex problems
