Director, Imaging Core Lab
I reported directly to the company vice president, and was responsible for all Imaging Core activities. This included the receipt, archive, and QC of image from sites across the country. Software implementations, validations, and data base creations. Software workflow creation and manipulation. All blind read database creations, blind read training, and blind read oversight. I oversaw the creation of several study related forms, site qualifications, initiations, inspections, and site personnel training. I was responsible for the Imaging Core Lab staff, new employee training, employee schedules, and annual reviews. I also assisted our executive team with Imaging Core Lab business outreach and development.
Senior Imaging Specialist
I developed blind read databases, trained physicians, developed and reviewed CRFs, communicated with sponsors and research site investigators, created user acceptance manuals, and performed software validations, all the while mastering Imaging Core Lab responsibilities. I traveled to large research hospitals across the country qualifying and initiating sites. During these visits, I gave presentations, educated the PI and research staff, inspected facilities, and reviewed all required documentation. Due to COVID restrictions, I also conducted several qualifications and initiations remotely.

I was responsible for approximately 70 employees, encompassing 11 departments, over 3 sites. I was a part of many hospital committees. I chaired the Radiation Safety Committee and the Radiation Right Sub-committee. My team and I were able to decrease ER Turnaround times for CT by 10 mins and for X-Ray by 8 mins. Communication with my staff and implementation of department solutions lead to an 18-point increase in employee engagement. In 2021 my team and I improved our physician satisfaction score to be the highest in division.All of my department inspections, by JCAHO, the State of NH, or HCA, were completed with no deficiencies found. I also successfully implemented state of the art up grades and equipment installs in X-Ray, Mammo, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine.
Radiation Safety Officer
After several years of training, I am one of the few technologists in the State of NH to be officially recognized as a Radiation Safety Officer and have my name added to a Hospital Radioactive Materials License.As the hospital RSO, I developed new forms for reporting radiation exposure events. I worked closely with our physicists, reviewed staff dosimetry documentation, radiology equipment reports, and was responsible for all staff and patient radiation safety education.
Clinical Coordinator Of Nuclear Medicine
As a Clinical Coordinator, I was responsible for policy and procedure writing, several nuclear medicine machines, and a handful of highly skilled technologists. I was the first in division to create a process for our pharmacy and nuclear medicine department to work together in compliance with USP 825. I developed several process improvement projects. One in particular was a joint venture with cardiology to reduce the time for stress tests by an average of 45 minutes. I oversaw the implementation of new technologies such as Ultra SPECT, Wide-beam Molecular Imaging.

My Army unit was a Combat Support Hospital based at Fort Bragg. I deployed several times to Bosnia and Iraq where I managing X-Ray and CT departments.During my time in the service, I was awarded 4 Army Commendation medals and one of the few technologists to ever be awarded two class coins (for educational excellence and combat operations) by the U.S. Army Academy of Health Sciences.
