For over 25 years, Radiology and Clinical Research have been my passion. I enjoy analyzing complex problems and working with others to achieve challenging objectives. My career has given me experience in hospital and clinical research settings. With an organized mind, I achieve goals by making effective changes that deliver key outcomes. I hold myself and my team to high standards, and can develop strategies to navigate change. My personal and professional experience have taught me the following: How to manage large-scale projects.- I have played key roles in imaging clinical trials for radiopharmaceuticals that received FDA approval.- I have lead teams through the implementation of large-scale projects such as department overhauls, major equipment installations, and department-wide software applications. How to develop and deliver innovative solutions.- I worked with our imaging core lab team and physicist to develop new methods for testing experimental radioisotopes.- I achieved 3 HCA Innovators awards. One of which was a division level award surpassing 19 other hospitals.- I developed a pediatric imaging education which was adopted by JCAHO as a “best practice”.How to lead during the toughest of times.- During the pandemic, I lead 70 employees, across 11 departments, as they imaged 30% of N.H.’s COVID-19 patients.- I over-saw X-Ray and CT departments during multiple deployments to Bosnia and lead a CT department during combat operations in Iraq. How to set the standard and motivate others.- I lead by example, never asking my team to do anything I would not or could not do.- I strive to support my direct reports, promote strong communication within my team, and instill a sense of pride in our accomplishments.
