Mike is a seasoned entrepreneur with 35 years of senior management experience spanning technology, product development and operations roles in the multinational, Irish SME, 3rd level university and start-up industry sectors. During his career in Ireland, UK and USA , he has held numerous senior engineering and operational management positions in INTEL, Digital Equipment and Sonex Metrology. Mike has also worked for over 11 years providing practical executive consultancy to many companies on business topics such as, how best to engage new product development, enter new markets, transform operational effectiveness, develop strategic business plans and achieve financial and operational excellence. In 2011, he founded Sonex Metrology which developed an innovative and breakthrough technology solution targeted at the semi-conductor industry for non-invasive inspection of sub-micron defects below the sample surface. He has also taught M.SC business modules within Dublin City University and was an executive coach within the L4G(Leadership for Growth) program designed by Enterprise Ireland and Stanford Business School.Mike worked with the senior management team in Irish Manufacturing Research(IMR) from Sept 2018 for 2 years , to identify and help manage a range of collaborative projects involving Irish and International companies working together in the fields of Advanced manufacturing and Industry 4.0. During this time he researched and led a broad range of international projects especially between Irish and USA based business groups and secured extensive funding for these programs.Mike is now focused on building his consultancy business with a special emphasis on working with Irish and USA companies within manufacturing and construction that are looking to grow domestically and internationally.
