Supervised 7-10 advisors for a startup Registered Investment Advisory practice.

For 15 years I've been helping clients with strategies to help them meet or exceed their college savings and/or retirement goals.

For almost 7 years, in addition to working with my personal clients, I was promoted to VP of Investments. In this role, I supervised the 45 reps in our group and assisted them with product knowledge and opportunities for joint work

In this role I supervised 45-50 securities reps in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. I also conducted annual office visits to insure compliance to company and industry regulations.

While I worked with the Knights of Columbus Insurance Program. I assisted members and their family members with their life insurance and retirement planning goals. I was fortunate to qualify for the "Supreme Knight" sales club multiple times during my career. I have fond memories of hundreds of BBQs and fish fries I helped out with. I cherish the thousands of lifelong friends I made during this time. It's very satisfying knowing you made a difference in people's lives.

While I worked with these 3 banks, I assisted bank customers with strategies and products to meet their investment and retirement savings goals. My team and I had a blast at First State Bank of Texas. I knew about 90% of the employees and the same percentage of bank customers. In June, 2000 our team generated revenue of over $106,000 - a record month.

This was my 1st career job out of college. I sold and serviced onshore and offshore oilfield production equipment and thank God every day that I didn't seriously injure myself or any coworkers. I was the proverbial fish out of water as I'm not very mechanical at all. Despite that, after some training I actually was able to properly set up and adjust our equipment once the oil lease pumper turned the valve and sent the oil and gas for processing.
