Trained in New York and San Francisco, and now after 13 years in Asia, Michael is widely regarded as a leading global F&B program consultant/designer and is regularly covered in the regional and international media. A pioneer in H.F.E. sciences applied to F&B programs, market positioning, program development and staff mentoring, he is the Co-Founder of The Compound Collective and Operations Director of Barbary Coast Singapore. Michael is also the Founding Bartender and part owner of 28 HongKong Street in Singapore. Previously, Michael was a founding Spirit Evangelist for Proof & Company Spirits, the Vice President of the United States Bartenders’ Guild for Northern California, and a lecturer on spirits and mixology at the City College of San Francisco.
