Early in SailPoint's SaaS history, in order to accommodate challenges of personnel scale, an experiment was attempted with the goal of unembedding quality headcounts from the development teams. I was asked to be the founding member of this feature-agnostic quality team. The pilot program experienced such success that the BU completely transitioned to this.

• The first quality engineer transitioned to CA Technologies' next-generation infrastructure management greenfield development project. Served as a key member of the development team as lead QA tester responsible for.

• Advocated for the Shift-Left paradigm in software development efforts, involving QA testing in on the front-end of the development cycle for gains in code quality, software functionality, and improved velocity.
• Participated in product design, backlog, and retrospective reviews throughout the software development lifecycle to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, and potential issues.
• Interacted with customers during alpha and beta programs in order to improve the customer experience of CA applications in customer environments. Visited customer sites to perform testing and solicit feedback for the.

During this period, I tested an on-premise network management tool which used ICMP, SNMP, BGP, TL1, and other protocols to discover and manage the switches and routers of dozens of vendors.Aprisma Management Technologies was acquired by Concord Communications and then soon after, Computer Associates, which eventually rebranded itself to CA Technologies.
