In June 2012, I launched the Plant City Observer, Observer Media Group's first and only publication in Hillsborough County, Florida. Following its opening, I ran operations at the paper and was a part of the team that led to a partnership with the Tampa Bay Times. Today, the paper is called the Plant City Times & Observer — a joint venture of the Observer.
