MemberAba Standing Committee On Technology And Information Systems 2004 - PresentI was recently reappointed to a three (3) year term as a member of SCOTIS. I began my service on SCOTIS as a liaison from the Real Property Trust & Estate Law Section (RPTE). I have actively pursued the improvement of the email and website policies of the ABA and was one of SCOTIS's primary participants in the various so-called Ogilvy digital workstreams addressing these issues. In 2012 I was appointed a full member of the committee, whereupon I simply continued all my present actions (though now I had a vote!) and also became SCOTIS' liaison to the ABA publications oversight committee (SCOPO), where I actively serve on that committee's marketing and technology subcommittees.

Real Property Trust & Estate Law Section - Multiple Leadership PositionsAmerican Bar Association Jan 1983 - PresentI have been involved with the Real Property Trust & Estate Law Section for most of my legal career. I have chaired several substantive committees, served on Council, chaired several standing committees and worked on keeping RPTE at the technoogical forefront of the ABA and the legal practice. I have served for several years as a liaison for RPTE to a variety of ABA task forces and association-wide committees, through which I work to see that the Section's concerns and issues are addressed in these wider forums. I currently serve on the Planning Committee. as vice-chair of the Gatekeeper Task Force, and liaison to SCOTIS. And I recently concluded a three (3) year term as co-chair of the Section's Task Force on Technology and the Profession.
