COPFS also allows the Finance Department to export data, generate reports and administrate the web based application. • Created desktop based COPCTRS (City of Plano Confidential Tax Report System). COPCTRS allows users in the Finance and Budget department to import a data file containing sales tax data into the software and output Excel Spreadsheet based reports. Previously, the sales tax file had to be loaded into an RPG program, a CSV file was then exported and users had to create and format several different Excel Spreadsheets manually. • Created SSIS package that imports employee checking/savings account data from Peoplesoft database into JD Edwards database so Accounting can use the data for Direct Deposit Accounts Payable. • Created SSIS package that monitors network folders for data files. Users will drop data files into certain network directories to be imported into the JD Edwards database. The SSIS package will monitor folders for new files and move files to the appropriate location and notify Accounting. Designed the database backend which has tables containing information about where files should be moved, error logging and user emails.• Perform very basic DBA duties such as creating Users, Operators, Database Roles, Indexes and granting access on SQL Server 2005 Database. • Other duties include very basic CNC Engineer duties, requirements gathering, creating documentation, providing support for Citrix Servers that run JD Edwards ERP software.
