I am a driven programmer, who graduated in Spring 2022, leveraging computer science and psychology studies and seeking an agile, fun environment. Passionate programmer with a second passion for data. Extensive background in Python, Java, and C, and some work with JavaScript and Go. I have used NodeJS, React, HTML, CSS for web design. In regards to software, I have used JavaFX with use of OOP programming, UML Diagrams, design patterns, algorithms to make it reliable and quick. SQL, MySQL, JSON, Pandas, Jupyter notebooks, and Tableau make up a lot of the data tools I have used.Worked as a Data Analyst hired by UAB as a part of a nonprofit organization. My team and I worked with the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama (EDPA) with a survey from Magic City Data Collective (MCDC). Our goal was to find reasons why people leave Alabama after college and how we can retain that talent here. We cleaned the data, used machine learning to find the highest and lowest coefficients on what areas leave Alabama more than others, and then graphed and presented our findings in front of a crowd of private investors and multiple organizations alike. This was a huge feat as not only working with a team to analyze data but to present these findings in front of big names at UAB and other organizations in attendance. This job was a lot of fun and it's sad it only lasted the summer.
