-I have been teaching Advanced Placement Biology, Living Environment, and piloted a two year sequenced Living Environment class for emerging English Language Learners-Planning standard aligned lessons to provide rigorous instruction-Continually develops practice by attending professional development opportunities through the National Math and Science Initiative (NMSI) and AP for All-Designated Data Analyst for the Science Department of the High School, and prepares Professional Developments to facilitate teachers to design lessons using the compiled data

-Instructs the course Anatomy & Physiology to high school students from various public high schools through virtual instruction.-Provides various instructional strategies to teach students remotely, such as Google Jamboard, Padlet, and utilizing breakout rooms to create lively class interactions. -Uses NYC iLearn/Brightspace digital interfaces to upload learning materials and assignments in accessible ways to support all learners.-Attends workshops on using tools on NYC iLearn/Brightspace to design class web page and assess student learning.

-Actively coached incoming NYC Teaching Fellows to develop their classroom management and assessment techniques as Collaborative coach (Summer 2018, 2021)-Observed and formally evaluated Teaching Fellows to give key feedback to develop effective teaching on the Danielson Rubric as Field Effectiveness Manager (Summer 2023, 2024)-Provided feedback on Teaching Fellows' lesson plans and simultaneously modeled teaching strategies towards students (for both positions).

-Instructing the course "GSCI 2050 Environmental Studies" within the Secondary Science Education Department at Brooklyn College. -Showcases engaging teaching strategies and resources to support students learning about environmental science.-Facilitates discussions on environmental issues, inquiry based science, and teaching the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).

-Instructed three credit recovery courses two nights each week.-Built strong relationships with at-risk students to help them become college and career ready.-Built a science elective curriculum on the health impacts of climate change and building a more resilient Coney Island shoreline

-Led Climate Change and Hurricane Preparedness initiative funded by Brooklyn College grant-Managed groups of students to conduct experiments on the vulnerability of the school towards natural disasters-Facilitated group members to organize and present empirical data to the NYC Office of Resilience and Recovery

-Instructed EGD 606: Assessment for Students with Disabilities.-Gave meaningful feedback to special education student teachers on the crafting meaningful assessments and how to analyze assessment data to better inform instruction.

-Instructed 7th and 8th Grade Science, in addition with a regent based Living Environment course for advanced 8th graders -Taught three Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) classes where students have a wide range of disabilities-Differentiated content for students with Individualized Education Programs and English Language Learners-Students are grouped heterogeneously as per Kagan Cooperative learning with hands on and activities-Offered after school tutoring and instructs a Lego Robotics after school program-Graded the January 2017/June 2017 Living Environment Regents at Alfred E. Smith Career and Technical High School-100% of my students successfully passed the Living Environment Regents by August 2017

-Met directly with students to discuss issues pertaining to college life.-Organized health fairs and participated in outreach events addressing health issues.-Written articles in a collaborative health magazine to address specific needs to incoming freshmen.

-Performed experiments on the regeneration of nerve cells in mice to treat neurological disorders.-Received training to independently use a 3-D imaging Confocal Microscope to quantify the migration of spinal cord nerve cells.-Presented research at the College of Staten Island 2015 Undergraduate Research Conference.

-Facilitated Orientation Program for incoming freshmen transitioning into college by leading workshops.-Lead sessions mentoring students on how to succeed academically.-Professionally handled sensitive information regarding students' test scores and health insurance. -Managed large groups of students for an array of activities, and has trained 6 employees.
