Michael is a dynamic and profit-driven executive with over 25 years of achievement in a consultative sales environment. In 2023 Michael joined Ministry Brands as Senior Vice President of Sales in the Catholic and Non-Profit space, tasked with growing these key market segments for this leading SaaS solution provider. He joins Ministry Brands from Blackbaud, where he led both their Faith Vertical as well as Enterprise and International Business in the Corporate Impact vertical in expanding responsibilities across 2019 - 2023. Prior to joining Blackbaud he had been with Procurex, a leading strategic sourcing SaaS platform, for more than 10 years as Vice President of Business Development and was focused on delivering engagement success for their reverse auction, strategic sourcing, procurement transformation, and professional services clients. Michael's experience has taken him across the globe in roles with the Corporate Executive Board (now a Gartner Company), a best-practices advisory firm supporting more than 30,000 executives and over 80% of the Fortune 500. Across his career, Michael has led sales, client retention and engagement initiatives for heads of Procurement, Corporate Strategy, Finance, and R&D functions in offices from China, EMEA and across North America. Supporting client and prospect initiatives in areas such as employee engagement, grants, fundraising, financial accounting, procurement optimization, business strategy, contract management, and spend analytics. A highly adept trainer, high performance team developer and mentor with exceptional analytical, oral/written/interpersonal communication skills with an ability to capture, build and retain client and partner relationships.Giving back is important to me, and I am honored to have served on the board of the South Carolina Preparatory Academy as well as the American Red Cross and led several campaigns including their ‘Heroes of the Red Cross’ program and is currently an advisor at 'The Ball Project'.
